TWS modular containment wall for Negative Air Machines for Construction Projects — installed in an occupied hospital corridor

What's included

A negative air machine pulls air from the work area through HEPA filtration and exhausts it, holding the enclosure at lower pressure than the space around it so air flows in rather than out. The filtration is only as good as the enclosure, which is why the machines and the barrier are specified together. This work is built with our negative air and HEPA filtration, the same system we install across Southeast Florida. Every unit we run is Abatement Technologies HEPA-AIRE equipment — the same machines that go out on hospital and lab jobs.

99.97%
HEPA filtration efficiency
  • HEPA-AIRE H2KM: 2,000 CFM high / 1,300 CFM low
  • 99.97% HEPA efficiency @ 0.3 microns
  • PAS750 portable: up to 750 CFM
  • 6 ACH @ 5,000–6,000 sq. ft. (PAS750)
  • Daisy-chainable on a single 15-amp circuit
  • Available standalone or paired with a wall install

03 / What this environment demands

Why negative air machines for construction projects is its own problem.

  1. Filtration depends on the enclosure

A machine behind a leaky barrier can't hold a differential. The wall is what makes the equipment effective.

  2. Sizing follows the volume

Air changes depend on the size of the space being contained — the unit gets matched to the enclosure.

  3. Exhaust has to go somewhere

Where filtered air discharges is a scoping decision made with the facility.

FAQ

Common Negative Air Machines for Construction Projects questions

Have questions? Call or text (561) 777-4958.

Can I rent the machines without the walls?

The two work as a system — filtration behind an unsealed barrier achieves very little. Talk to us about the enclosure and we'll scope the filtration with it.

What does HEPA actually filter?

99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns, the standard HEPA rating and the range most relevant to construction dust.

Do you handle Negative Air Machines for Construction Projects?

Yes — anywhere from the Treasure Coast down to the Keys. It's built with our negative air and HEPA filtration.

What negative air machines does TWS use?

HEPA-AIRE H2KM units from Abatement Technologies — 2,000 CFM on high, 1,300 on low, with a 99.97% efficient HEPA filter rated to 0.3 microns.

Do you offer portable HEPA scrubbers for smaller spaces?

Yes. The PAS750 moves up to 750 CFM at the same 99.97% efficiency. At 33.5 lbs it's easy to move, and it draws little enough power that you can daisy-chain several on one circuit.
