TWS modular containment wall for Lab & Cleanroom Construction Containment — installed in an occupied hospital corridor

What's included

Labs and cleanrooms run controlled conditions that took real effort to establish, and research doesn't pause well — some work simply can't be restarted where it stopped. Containment here is protecting an environment and a body of work at the same time, alongside fume hoods and equipment with their own airflow demands. We handle this with our ICRA barriers — the same build that goes up on projects throughout Southeast Florida. Anti-microbial panels, gasketed seals, and managed wall penetrations go into every barrier we build, whatever the job spec happens to call it.

  • Class I–IV barrier construction
  • Negative-pressure ready
  • HEPA & airlock compatible
  • Managed wall penetrations
  • Flexible installation scheduling
  • Phased reconfiguration

03 / What this environment demands

Why lab & cleanroom construction containment is its own problem.

  1. Controlled conditions are the asset

Cleanliness class, pressure, and airflow were established deliberately. Construction can't quietly undo them.

  2. Research is time-sensitive

Long-running work can't always be paused and resumed. Continuity is the requirement.

  3. Existing airflow has to be accounted for

Fume hoods and equipment exhaust interact with anything containment does to the room's air.

FAQ

Common Lab & Cleanroom Construction Containment questions

Have questions? Call or text (561) 777-4958.

Can you contain part of a lab while work continues in the rest?

Yes — sealed panels let you close off the area under construction while the remainder stays in use.

What about rooms with fume hoods or a set pressure scheme?

Those need scoping with your lab team. Existing airflow is part of the design, so containment has to be planned around it rather than dropped on top.

Do you handle Lab & Cleanroom Construction Containment?

Yes — anywhere from the Treasure Coast down to the Keys. It's built with our ICRA barriers.

What's the difference between an ICRA barrier and an ICRA panel?

Nothing — it's the same modular, gasketed wall system. Contractors and infection-control teams just tend to use both words for it.

What ICRA classes can you build to?

Class I through IV. Your infection-control risk assessment sets the class, and we build to it — negative-pressure ready and HEPA compatible at any level.
