TWS modular containment wall for Imaging Center Renovation Containment — installed in an occupied hospital corridor

What's included

Imaging suites are built around equipment that is heavy, calibrated, shielded, and expensive to have sitting idle. Much of it can't be relocated for the duration of a renovation, so the containment gets built around hardware that is staying exactly where it is — and in MRI, the magnet imposes its own rules on everything brought into the room. We handle this with our ICRA barriers — the same build that goes up on projects throughout Southeast Florida. Anti-microbial panels, gasketed seals, and managed wall penetrations go into every barrier we build, whatever the job spec happens to call it.

  • Class I–IV barrier construction
  • Negative-pressure ready
  • HEPA & airlock compatible
  • Managed wall penetrations
  • Flexible installation scheduling
  • Phased reconfiguration

03 / What this environment demands

Why imaging center renovation containment is its own problem.

  1. The equipment doesn't move

Scanners are effectively fixed. Containment works around them rather than the other way around.

  2. Downtime is expensive

A scanner out of service is lost throughput on a machine with a long payback. Short install and removal windows matter financially.

  3. MRI has its own constraints

The magnetic field governs what can safely enter the room. Worth raising at scoping so it's designed for, not discovered on site.

We work in every kind of healthcare facility — if your setting isn't listed here, it's still one we cover. These pages exist because people search by department, not because the list is a limit.

FAQ

Common Imaging Center Renovation Containment questions

Have questions? Call or text (561) 777-4958.

Can you contain around a scanner that has to stay in place?

Yes — that's the normal case in imaging. The barrier is built around fixed equipment rather than requiring the room to be cleared.

What about work near an MRI?

Raise it early. The magnet restricts what can safely come into the room, so it needs to be part of the scope conversation rather than a surprise on install day.

Do you handle Imaging Center Renovation Containment?

Yes — anywhere from the Treasure Coast down to the Keys. It's built with our ICRA barriers.

What's the difference between an ICRA barrier and an ICRA panel?

Nothing — it's the same modular, gasketed wall system. Contractors and infection-control teams just tend to use both words for it.

What ICRA classes can you build to?

Class I through IV. Your infection-control risk assessment sets the class, and we build to it — negative-pressure ready and HEPA compatible at any level.
